Remember the song Canadian singer Celine Dion sung for the 1991 movie adaption of "Beauty and the Beast"? Dion has been famous for her high range of voice in some really catchy songs and this song is one of her fans' favorites. Dion is making an awesome comeback for the live action adaption of the 2017 movie "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson and she is singing a completely new song this time!
The upcoming 2017 movie "Beauty and the Beast" has to live up to many expectations, one of them being the musical department. Disney has recently announced it is getting Celine Dion back in the main soundtrack for the movie set to be released in 2017. She will be singing "How Does a Moment Last Forever"- an original song created for this movie specifically. The song has been written by Tim Rice- a Disney veteran who has also won the Oscar for "The Lion King", along with Alan Menken of the "The Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin" fame. The song will be played fully during the end credits sequence of the film.
However, snippets of the song will be played in between the movie. Celine Dion lent her voice to the original track of the 1991 "Beauty and the Beast" movie. She was relatively an unknown voice at that point of time. This duet, sung with Peabo Bryson became an instant hit and also found the status of a classic. It went on to win an Academy Award, a Golden Award and even 3 Grammy Awards! Dion's version had, as with the upcoming track, been played at the end of the movie during the end credit sequence.
The ballroom sequence had been sung by Angela Lansbury. People are quite excited to see a live action version of the classic story "Beauty and the Beast" and given the grand cast for the movie, we can understand why!
