It was only a few months back that the Asus Zenfone 3 range was first announced by the company. This range has many intriguing devices spread across a wide spectrum of high range to affordable. It includes Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. The Asus Zenfone 3 Max is one such low-end phone where the features and performance have been cut down upon in order to boost battery life. The Zenfone Max 3 had a massive battery pack that can last one or even two days even with extensive use.

However, this does not mean that the specs of the Asus Zenfone 3 Max ZC553KL model are not completely low key in terms of what it has to offer to the Asus lovers and fans. Apart from the enormous and impressive 4100 mAh battery, there are other attributes which draw our attention. The features include a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 1920X1080 resolution along with a 16 megapixel back camera. The device is backed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and 1.4 GHz octa-core Cortex A53 CPU.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max features 3GB RAM, 32GB storage with an expandable MicroSD slot. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor. The camera has phase detection autofocus with dual LED flash. The phone captures 1080p video with 3-axis EIS. The selfie lovers will love this phone with 8MP front camera. Not just this, the phone has a FM radio with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. It comes with a microUSB connector and 3.5mm headphone jack. The battery comes with reverse charging (one can charge other devices with this phone which acts as power bank after connecting it with an OTG adapter they get with the phone).

Apart from the 5.5 version, there exists a 5.2 inch variant of the phone with a lower resolution screen. The processors and cameras also take a hit, along with the memory space. All in all, Asus Zenfone 3 Max remains a fair choice for a budget smartphone although other competitors are offering similar devices with better processors.
