AAA titles lines up for release in 2017, but are these release dates really feasible or are there possibilities of delays? Exclusive titles routing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch are there, yet there are some doubts regarding their pegged date of unleashing.
First in the list of those who are most likely to delay release is "Red Dead Redemption 2." There is a "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer that revealed holiday of 2017 as release date and it caused mass hysteria.
Looking at developer Rockstar's reputation of delaying a game when it is not perfect precedes them. Remember the case of "Grand Theft Auto V" that delayed multiple times due to "imperfections" and it is not going to hard to imagine that "Red Dead Redemption 2" might end up the same, Twinfinite assessed.
Another title is "Mass Effect: Andromeda" who aims for March 21 release date, according to Forbes. Developer EA made fans excited about this title but come to think of it, not much is known about gameplay, details, scenes of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." This pose a threat to possible delayed release since EA just announced in November of 2016 that it will not flinch delaying "Mass Effect: Andromeda if there is a way to make the game better.
Ubisoft's "The Division" suffered heavily during release day after several server crash happened. This in effect, might result to pushing back "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" who offers identical experience. "Ghost Recon Wildlands" roots for March 7 but EA will never think twice delaying release should there be a need to perfect its wounded server.
Topping the list of most like to delay release date is "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." The game is originally intending for Nintendo Wii U but pivots towards Nintendo Switch instead. Players expect that this new console is releasing in March and it is questionable if Nintendo will risk "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" during Nintendo Switch's infancy.
