The Golden Globes just happened last Sunday and was aired live on NBC from Beverly Hills, California. Host Jimmy Fallon started the show with a "La La Land" inspired opening number alongside a number of notable stars. However, the cast of "Stranger Things" was among the most noted, along with an alive Barb (Shannon Purser) coming out of a pool.

Fans of hit Netflix show "Stranger Things" will never forget Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas, Finn Wolfhard as Mike and Noah Schnapp as Will. However, another fan favorite was Barb, Nancy Wheeler's (Natalia Dyer) best friend. Barb was captured by the Demogorgon monster and was lost in the Upside Down. Soon on the series, she appeared to have died.

However, the Golden Globes opening number showed Brown, Matarazzo, McLaughlin and Wolfhard rapping and soon revealed a secret: Barb is alive! With that, Shannon Purser appeared as none other than Barb from a pool. According to CNET, the scene connected to how her character was lost in a swimming pool, as well.

Fans of the show reacted on Twitter. Some wild speculations from fans also appeared saying the number may be a subtle spoiler to "Stranger Things" season 2. Thoughts of Barb actually dying has faded a bit and some were saying she might still be alive.

The Barb speculations are, of course, to be taken with a grain of salt. However, fans are to expect a darker and bigger season 2 of "Stranger Things." This was what series director Shawn Levy said to Vanity Fair.

"The threat, which in Season 1 was to Will Byers, has grown. That's all I'm going to say!" Levy said. "But, I will say Season 2 has a bigger cast and is definitely loyal to the kind of magical storytelling that we established in the first season."

"Stranger Things" will have additional cast for season 2, which they have previously announced. The second season will be coming this 2017.
