Publisher Square Enix offers some digital perks as bonuses when players pre-order "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" such as additional in-game mission, some weapon skins and a few character and a number of free consumables. For those who didn't pre-order the game, don't worry because Square Enix has silently released a patch making DLC free for all players yesterday.

PC Gamer reports that the pre-order content of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," which is free for everyone will be added to the game automatically through an update when you restart Steam. The pack includes Desperate Measures extra in-game Mission, a compilation of skins for Adam's armor and trench coat, a re-skinned pistol and combat rifle and several consumables alongside three digital books that has a novella Deus Ex: Hard Line written by James Swallow that stars Alex Vega, the mini-comic The Dawning Darkness as well as a mini-artbook that can be downloaded here for free.

This was previously exclusive to those who pre-ordered "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" on Steam or through several participating retail stores. While PC users will get the added free content upon booting up the game, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will need to download the free DLC from their in-game stores, according to the Escapist.

Moreover, there's also a small patch, which fixes an issue where the weapon inventory bar would not be saved online, fixes a few crash issues happening with certain save files from users and properly aligns the Quit Game option on the menu. So, for those who haven't tried playing the game before, now is the best time to do so especially with these bonuses from Square Enix.
