When Blizzard officially released their new map, Oasis, a couple days ago, "Overwatch" fans had cause for celebration. One of the more promising possibilities for Overwatch 2017, after the Winter Wonderland event had ended, was the prospect of new worlds and new characters.
After being in Overwatch's public test realm on Windows PC for months, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players got their chance to experience this Control city set in the Arabian Desert. Aside from featuring three unique control points, Oasis also features jump pads and some pretty heavy traffic.
It's an interesting world, all things considered, especially since Blizzard describes it as a city "dedicated to scientific progress without restraint." Intimidating description aside, Oasis has recently become notorious for its game-breaking bug. Players can resurrect beneath the map and shoot other players from below, without consequence.
PVPLive reveals that this game-breaking bug happens once a character commits suicide by jumping off the side of Oasis. Mercy resurrects your character, and you revive beneath the map, where you're virtually untouchable by other players.
Unfortunately for them, they're not as invulnerable. The video below shows how players could possibly abuse the "Overwatch" bug (for the record, this is not recommended).
Fortunately there's an update on the way, according to GameRant, that can hopefully fix this and other bugs that may not be as prevalent but are no less problematic. Currently in the Overwatch PTR, this update will also be making some changes to the characters.
For instance, characters Ana and D.Va are getting nerfs. The healing boost of Ana's biotic grenade will be cut in half, as will D.Va's armor (400 to 200). Meanwhile, her bullets are also being dropped from 3 to 2.
On the other hand, everyone's favorite hacker is getting an upgrade. The new patch for "Overwatch" gives Sombra a buff to hack enemies within 0.8 seconds, instead of the usual full second it takes. The actual release date for this update has yet to be announced.
