"Harley Quinn #11" shows a rather controversial portion of the jester queen's lover, The Joker. However, there may be some concern on just how his re-emerging may have been delivered.
It was an intriguing turn of events, where last spring's "Justice League #50" showed how there are three Jokers in the story. After that, fans had been waiting for what could come next in relation to Harley Quinn -- but the recent issue may have simply just strayed away from it.
According to We Got This Covered, The Joker comes to the doorstep of Harley, being sincere with his apologies, which seems quite uncanny for the Clown of Prince of Crime to do. After the past events that transpired between the two, with Harley Quinn emerging as the more favored victor, Harley seemed to trust her "puddin'" despite everything.
The issue also tackled the competition between Joker and Red Tool, a close friend of Harley who was based off Deadpool. It was said that the way the two men act alongside each other may be one to further watch out for in the near future. Sadly, the focus of the book did not really give out much of The Joker as expected. Instead, it went on to the brewing partnership between Harley and Red Tool -- even showing how the duo took on a tentacle creature.
In terms of artistic perception, "Harley Quinn #11" created a rather remarkable series of visual interpretations after being assigned to interim artists for the past few issues. John Timms has returned to the title and, as one of the pioneer artists, the penciler is finally welcomed back for more. Being one of the more perfect illustrators of Harley Quinn in the past, his Joker take is also one that was commended in the issue.
Harley Quinn first appeared in "Batman: The Animated Series" back in 1992 and in the new 52 "Suicide Squad" #1 back in 2011. She has then become a household name for comic book fans everywhere and has been around different forms of media.
