The smartwatch market has just gotten a little bit more crowded as Armani Exchange unveils its first hybrid smartwatch at the Las Vegas 2017 CES. This is just another brand from the Fossil Group that has thrown itself in the smartwatch wars this 2017. Other known watch brands such as Diesel, Chaps, Kate Spade and Michael Kors have already introduced their own versions of smartwatches.

The new smartwatch hybrid from Armani Exchange introduced at the CES 2017 Las Vegas Event is the first smartwatch from the Fossil brand that has a silicone case. The earlier smartwatches introduced by brands belonging to the Fossil group either has a metal or leather band.

The AX hybrid smartwatch comes in four colors (black, blue, white and black and orange). Just like the other smartwatches from the Fossil group, the AX hybrid smartwatch introduced during the 2017 Las Vegas CES event also has sleep and step tracking capability.

Another feature of the AX smartwatch hybrid is that it can remain connected to a user's phone, be it iPhone or Android, from up to a distance of 84 feet. The AX smartwatch hybrid also has an auto time feature, which means the AX smartwatch syncs with the GPS -set time in the user's phone. A second time zone may also be viewed in the AX smartwatch.

The AX hybrid smartwatch also has the capability to allow users to take photos wirelessly with the camera of their smartphones. The new hybrid smartwatch from Armani Exchange also comes with music control feature, a support for notification and alarms.

The AX hybrid smartwatch is 5ATM water resistant. This level of water resistance may be able to withstand the rain but is not advisable for water activities. The Armani Exchange hybrid AX smartwatch is powered by a coin cell battery which makes the battery life of the watch last for 6 months with normal usage.
