"Naruto Shippuden" Episode 488 is suggested to continue the confrontation between Sasuke and Chino. Entitled "Sasuke's Story: Sunrise, Part 5: The Last One," the new episode is said to be the last installment in the Uchiha's arc. Additionally, Episode 489 of the long-running Japanese anime is believed to introduce a new arc.

As per a report by Mobipicker, a battle between the two Kekkei Genkai users may ensue if they won't be able to sort out their argument through a peaceful communication. It can be recalled that Sasuke met Chino on Episode 487 of "Naruto Shippuden" where he saw the latter's past. The last surviving member of the Uchiha clan learned that Chino is also the last of her clan called Chinoike.

Unfortunately for Chino, she was captured by a Kekkei Genkai user collector at a very young age. For this reason, she grew up to be vengeful and she even made use of her detonating powers to exact revenge on those responsible for her clan's demise, including the village of Konoha. However, with Sasuke protecting the town, Chino will find it hard to fulfill her goal.

Though nothing has been confirmed yet, it seems that the direction of "Naruto Shippuden" 488 leads to Chino forcing Sasuke in a fight. With Chino's deep grudges against the Uchiha clan for helping in the Chinoike clan's exile, it remains to be seen how Sasuke will handle the impending battle. Spoilers claimed that fans may see the last Chinoike to feel remorse and atone her sins, following the fight.

Now that Sasuke's arc is near conclusion, a new arc that will reportedly cover another "Hiden" novel is set to begin. Apart from a fresh arc, fans of "Naruto Shippuden" may be delighted to know that "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is reportedly arriving in 2017 as pointed out by Crunchyroll.
