"The Walking Dead Season 7" first eight episodes were depressing to watch for fans when some of the most adored main characters of the show were killed by Negan and his saviors in an unforgiving way. However, there are reports that the show's return from its mid-season break will feature more of Rick rising up from Negan and fighting back in reclaiming his bravado.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln had an interview regarding on what fans can expect from the AMC zombie apocalypse TV series when it returns to the TV screens. Lincoln did spill some information with glee, stating that it will be the total opposite of what fans witnessed on the first eight episodes.
Lincoln stated that fans can expect many things from his character and says Rick will be the man of action once again with some of the members of his closest family. Andrew Lincoln added that there's a lot more levity that fans had never seen from Rick before in the show.
"The Walking Dead" actor further states that there is a lot of freedom in him, a feeling that comes from losing everything, and also the thrill of the fight is back again in him. Lincoln ends with the note, "all I'm saying is that the band is back together."
Meanwhile, Digital Spy reports that Andrew Lincoln did had fun shooting the past eight episodes and believes the fans are in for a treat when the hit TV series returns in February. Lincoln added that fans should wait until the Season 7 finale. There is this one scene where the actor dropped his script and started punching the air and did a little jig.
