A Bluetooth certification has been released to a new HTC device which is believed to be released during the Jan. 12 event of the company. It is said to be packed with great features including a fast processor and a powerful camera.

Release date

Dubbed the HTC One X10, the upcoming smartphone is said to be a followup to the HTC One A9 and not the HTC One X9. HTC is anticipated to introduce the device in their big event this coming Jan. 12 but prior to that reports indicate that it already received a Bluetooth certification with the model number 2PYR1XX.

Specs and features

When it comes out this month, the HTC One X10 is believed to sport a 5.5-inch HD display with Mali T-860 graphics. It is also anticipated to have an octacore MediaTek Helio P10 processor and 3GB of RAM for a faster response system.

As for its camera, the upcoming phone from HTC offering is thought to have a 13MP main camera. The primary shooter is also said to feature optical image stabilization for clearer photos.

New processor

Aside from these features, the HTC One X10 is also thought to run on the newest Android 7.0 Nougat release. It is, however, expected not to have a fingerprint scanner when it comes out a few weeks from now.

The HTC One X10 will reportedly cost around $288, a price which is already affordable considering the features coming with the device. The tag is also almost half the price of the cost of high-end flagships of the company.

Other potential releases

Apart from the HTC One X10, HTC is also set to release three more handsets dubbed as the Ocean Note, Ocean Master and Ocean Smart. HTC fans are also hoping that the HTC 11 will also be released this year with improved specs and functions. What are other features do you expect from HTC phones?
