Ever since the parting ways of Natsume and Marvelous, Harvest Moon has newfound hope for it will revive back the farming passion in the hearts of fans. Now, the PlayStation 2 classics, "Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland" and "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life" will be on PlayStation 4. These two games are originally from the PlayStation 2 platforms and were originally released in the year 2001 and 2004.
The issues of FPS (Frames per second) when playing the game on higher consoles
For some fans, they have experienced issues on low FPS that makes the game buggy and slow. A conversation among fans on Reddit makes it clear that these two "Harvest Moon" games will be released on the PlayStation 4 will be a remedy for it. These PlayStation 2-on-PlayStation 4 games will rekindle lost bonds from the famous farming game. Fortunately, ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rated these two games for it to be played and re-released on the latest console today, the PlayStation 4. Based on the post from Gematsu, this might be the first PS2-on-PS4 game title ever done by Natsume.
Patience is a virtue
Just as new announcements and games are scheduled to be released this 2017, information regarding the exact release dates for "Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland" and "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life" are not yet officially announced.
Fans will have to wait for future updates for the release dates of these games, which may also include some surprises later on. The re-release of these Harvest Moon games may be another chance that Natsume will get to make another game in line with the series and return to its former glory. With PlayStation 4 as its platform, there are endless possibilities that game developers can take.
