Ubisoft has yet to release "For Honor" but a collector's edition is already listed online. A Collector's Case version of the game has already been revealed earlier this year though it is exclusive to the developer's Uplay portal.
What's in for Fans?
As first reported by IGN, the new version is called "For Honor Apollyon Collector's Edition." It will include a 14-inch Apollyon Statue. The said statue is a product of Project TriForce and according to the company, the statue is "highly-detailed" and an "accurate reproduction" of Apollyon, the main Warlord in the upcoming title.
The "For Honor" CE will feature an exclusive Apollyon Lithograph that sees the Blackstone Legion's Warlord on a mission of waging war against her foes. An Origins Note will also come with the upcoming CE. It will give fans a closer look at Apollyon's roots and back story, including her some of the mysterious character's secrets.
As of writing, the "For Honor Apollyon Collector's Edition" appears to be exclusive to GameStop. However, more details are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks before the title releases.
Meanwhile, GameSpot reports that a "For Honor" beta will be available for players in January. On the game's official website, players can pledge allegiance to either of the three factions: Samurai, Knights, and Vikings. The pledging is part of a promotion that Ubisoft calls War of Factions. Players can register here for a chance to experience the upcoming beta.
Ubisoft's Upcoming Hack and Slash Title
Announced during the 2015 E3, "For Honor" is set a fantasy-inspired medieval period. The gameplay will see players fighting against opponents through the use of various weapons including swords, axes, and katanas. Some moves will allow fans to gain Feats, which can further gain additional points, healing power, and more.
There are five multiplayer modes in the game namely, Dominion, Skirmish, Duel, Brawl, and Elimination. The game also includes three multiplayer arenas that fans can explore. These are: Map of the Chosen, Map of the Legion, and Map of the Warborn.
Ubisoft will release the game on February 14, 2017 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates.
