"Criminal Minds" Season 12 spoilers hint that fans and viewers should expect more "twists and turns" when the CBS series returns on TV. In a recent interview with TVGuide.com, actor Damon Gupton, who plays Stephen Walker, teased that one member of BAU, in particular, will be doing unexpected things.
"There are some twists and turns," he teased. "There are some things you wouldn't expect from a particular team member."
Gupton refused to give further details about the character he was referring to in "Criminal Minds" Season 12. There have been speculations, however, that much of the upcoming episodes will focus on Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler).
As seen in the latest episodes of "Criminal Minds" Season 12, the show was shifting its focus to Reid, as he is seemingly leaving the team for his mom. Diana Lynch, who plays Reid's mom Diana, will also be appearing for a two-episode arc.
Executive producer Harry Bring also shared the latest cast photo of "Criminal Minds" Season 12, which no longer showed Thomas Gibson who was fired in the middle of production, reports BuddyTV. Several fans expressed disappointment with the arrangement of the cast members in the said photo.
However, Bring explained that the cast arrangement has nothing to do with superiority. The publication notes that Gubler and Paget Brewster appear on the photo's center, which proves that they are the show's main characters since Hotch's departure.
