Writer Renae De Liz announced on Twitter that "The Legend of Wonder Woman" Part 2 comic has been cancelled. DC's spokesperson said it is due to "a challenging relationship" with the husband and wife team.

Artist Ray Dillon, husband of writer Renae De Liz had created nine issues of "The Legend of Wonder Woman." The new Wonder Woman comics telling the story of an Amazonian from planet Themyscira who arrived on Earth and became a superhero.

Before the cancellation announcement, DC has announced that the part 2 of "The Legend of Wonder Woman" will come out in 2017. However, since the cancellation was announced, readers and fans wonder what is the real reason for this issue.

According to The Guardian's report, the spokesperson of DC Comics said they loved the book and they were very excited to work on the collected volume. But the studio was concerned about Dillon's public comments regarding other DC teams on social media.

"The Legend of Wonder Woman" came out in 270-page hardcover and was also issued as nine miniseries. "Volume 1" was published last week and now available in comic shops, bookstores and on Amazon.

Comic Book reported the tweet of writer De Liz about the comic. "I am very grateful to DC for the opportunity to work with such an iconic character over the last few years, that was a joy like none other," she said.

Meanwhile, Dillon criticized the other writing in the DC series, the "Wonder Woman: Earth One." He complained when DC approved the volume of this series while his work was awaiting approval.

Dillon also called out another writer named Kevin Grevioux, who wrote a series titled "The Odyssey of the Amazons." Dillon alleged that he and his wife first pitched a similar idea to DC but never heard back from the comic company.
