Terry McGinnis, a young man who lives 50 years into the future taking his mentor Bruce Wayne's responsibilities to protect Gotham City and deals with a new wave of supervillains, is not just dealing with the revelation that his mentor is obviously alive but he is also dealing with his elegant new suit. Yes, the Batman of the future in "Batman Beyond" is getting a new suit.

His new suit has a striking resemblance to the classic "Batman Beyond" outfit except for its lines of red tech/detailing and his cape is attached to the attire's arms as seen in this week's "Batman Beyond" #4, according to Comic Book. Terry already has high-tech capabilities but in addition to this, he is now able to see through walls - an ability that will certainly help him in his ongoing combat with the Jokerz, reports say.

The comic has had a lot of changes in the past couple of years and has been published on an off by DC Comics but has not found a permanent home. Based on the hit animated series 15 years ago, its nature is somewhat considered extracanonical by nature and unimportant, which is ignored by some of the superhero comics readers.

The character was integrated into a major DC story "The New 52: Future's End" in 2014 that sees "Batman Beyond's" future being overrun by OMACs. Then Wayne sent McGinnis 35 years into the past to put a stop to the rise of Brother Eye but arrived five years late and the entire Futures End story ended up as another alternative future.

"Batman Beyond" is an American animated TV series is developed and produced as a continuation of the Batman legacy, which depicts a teen Batman in a futuristic Gotham City under the guidance of an older Bruce Wayne. It is the first Batman series to represent a teenage hero.
