Bethesda Softworks and Arkane Studios' multi-awarded action-adventure stealth video game, Dishonored 2, was just released a month ago, but it seems like the developers want to further increase its replayability factor as evident in the game's latest update.

Aside from typical bug fixes and enhancements, Dishonored 2's latest free update now includes a "New Game Plus" mode --- letting players go through a customized second run through the game. The "New Game Plus" mode has just gone through beta testing a week ago, which is why gamers were surprised that it was included in this week's update. The new mode gives players, who have already completed the game's main campaign mode, a chance to go through the game again with a myriad of new additions and options.

In the new mode, players will be able to retain and reassign Runes and Bonecharms that they have already collected in their first run. Players will also have access to all the combined powers of Emily and Corvo, regardless of which character they will choose to play the second time around. Bethesda also teased that another mode, which allows players to replay specific levels, will be coming soon --- possibly in a January update.

As previously mentioned, the update itself contains a variety of bug fixes and enhancements, which includes a fix to finally have the game running seamlessly on AMD's Phenom processors. Bethesda also urges players to update their Nvidia drivers to the latest ones in order to ensure proper gameplay performance. Other tweaks included in the update are slight changes to the AI detection, AI running, Blood Thirst enhancements, mana refill speeds, slow-motion fixes, and Bonecharm effects amongst others.

Dishonored 2 was released last month, Nov. 11, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
