The popularity of Virtual Reality supported titles are growing, and the demands for it is seemingly increasing by each passing month. A lot of popular Triple-A titles are now getting the VR treatment like "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Star Wars: Battlefront," to name a few.

However, it seems like BioWare's upcoming Science-Fiction game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," may not exactly follow the latest trend. According to the game's producer, Michael Gamble, during his most recent talk with Stevivor, he stresses out that the studio has "no plans right now" to do a VR port for the highly anticipated title.

Gamble admitted that the idea "would be cool," however. "All I would say is that we would never want to quote, unquote 'port' a Mass Effect game to VR. We would want to create a custom experience if we were to ever do it," he continued.

Is "Mass Effect: Andromeda" coming to the Microsoft Project Scorpio as well?

Meanwhile, fans have already known for quite some time now that BioWare's "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is officially coming to Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro. Because of that, some gamers are wondering if the future title might come to the Microsoft Project Scorpio as well, considering that these two platforms have always been in competition ever since.

Unfortunately, Gamble revealed that BioWare still has no current plans for the Project Scorpio port for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

"You never know what'll happen after that," the game producer told Stevivor during his interview.

With all that said, the best thing that fans can do for now is to just wait for further news coming from BioWare regarding the future port of "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" release date rumors point out to March 2017?

BioWare is still keeping the lid tight on when it will exactly launch the much-awaited installment. There are, however, some hints that may pinpoint the specific release date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

Den of Geek reported that the franchise installment might get released simultaneously with the official book of the game, titled as "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda," on March 21, 2017, as what the Amazon listing suggested.

There is, of course, no word yet coming from the developer. With that said, fans are advised to keep an open mind for the time being and take this one with a tiny pinch of salt.
