Overwatch video game's Christmas themed update is now live. Part of the updates were the new skins added bringing more excitement to the game.

Season's Changes

For the past season updates of the game, Winter Wonderland changes the regular loot box with a winter box, with a chance to unlock exciting items. There are player icons, emotes, skins, victory poses, highlight poses and more to acquire.The players will receive loot box and a free icon for logging in according to Gamer Watch.

The event-specific Brawl mode is still available in this season. On Ecopoint Antartica, Mei's Snowwball Offensive competes two teams against each other with six members each. Everyone plays the role of Mei wielding a snowball gun. The gun can only shoot once and a reload is needed from the snow pile found in the map. Her ultimate however allows multiple firing even without reloading from the snow pile. Games are using single elimination rounds and the teams would need to beat the other teams at least three times.

Winter Mystery Brawl

Moreover, a Winter Mystery brawl is in place. The characters in this brawl are selected every time the players respawn. Hanamura and King's Row maps are specifically decorated for the holiday season. More season themed minor changes were incorporated in the newly released update.

January 2, 2017 is the last day of availability of the Winter Wonderland. Gamers will also have to take note that it is also the last day to unlock all of the new Christmas themed items, though they can be used throughout the year.

Gamers can anticipate a lot for this year's Christmas theme season of Overwatch. The videogame has taken the excitement to a whole new level every season changes. For the avid gamers of overwatch, the seasonal brawls and updates are something to look forward to everytime and all year round.
