Much to the relief of those who prefer to play Pokemon Sun and Moon games on a PC rather than Nintendo 3DS, the internet is brimming with Pokemon Sun and Moon emulators that can help an ardent Pokemon trainer to become the Alola Champion --- while playing the game on a bigger screen, possibly with higher resolution up to HD.
It's worth noting that this is not an official Pokemon Sun and Moon version for PC. Nevertheless, this is one way players who have yet to get a 3DS can enjoy both games. Those playing Pokemon Sun and Moon on PC will get better graphics. Moreover, their PC GPU can be modified to neither lose frames nor lag spikes.
Setting up a Pokemon Sun and Moon emulator is no child's play as it requires the player to adjust the PC's graphic card. But fret not; a YouTube channel, dubbed as Emulation Showdown, explained the entire process in nearly 3-minute video footage (seen below). It's important to bear in mind that the emulation of 3DS games like Pokemon Sun and Moon require a considerable amount of processing power. Ideally, this doesn't work on older PCs; however, following the optimization tips below should do the trick.
Here's How To Set It Up
Players can get the emulator online by visiting this blog, but skipping ROM for copyright purposes. After downloading and installing, one needs to open the GPU settings --- ideally, that would be GeForce Configuration for Nvidia video cards or Catalyst for ATI ones. Then, the Vsync (Vertical Synchronization) must be set to either "On" or "Adaptive". If this is already the case, it must be turned off for a huge gain on FPS (Frames Per Second).
Players can also remove game screen lines using the "Cheats" menu under "Emulation". Just enter the cheats listed below:

Pokemon Sun and Moon should be running on a decent FPS after modifying these settings, providing somewhere around 50-55 fps.
