Have you managed to catch them all in "Pokémon Sun and Moon"? Here are a few tips on how to catch two of the most popular Pokémon in the game: Rockruff and Beldum.
Where To Find And How To Catch Rockruff
The game was not even released yet but people are already excited to catch this cute dog Pokémon as soon as they saw leaked information about it in Japanese publication CoroCoro Comic. Here's where and how to get your very own Rockruff.
Rockruff can be found on the first island of the game, but it will be blocked by rocks earlier on and will be inaccessible until you complete the first Island Challenge and defeat Kahuna Hala.
After the battle with Kahuna Hala, you will receive a Ride Pager, which you can use to summon Tauros. Now from the Grand Trial encounter, ride Tauros south towards your house, then head towards the Pokémon Research House.
Turn left and look for the sign that says Ten Carat Hill. To locate Rockruff, head inside the cave and keep going left until you reach a dead end with a boulder. Turn right and enter the Farthest Hollow. Rockruff will be waiting for you there, among the grass.
Where To Find And How To Catch Beldum
Generation III Pokémon Beldum returns in "Pokémon Sun and Moon." This Steel/Psychic Pokémon is a great addition to the team, especially after evolving into Metang and Metagross.
To get this Pokémon, head to Mount Hokulani on the third island and find it near the observatory, on Route 10. Like Rockruff, it has a low chance of appearing so you would need to spend time looking for them among the random encounters.
Beldum is also a bit tricky to catch as it also hurts itself during battle, so it will most likely faint before you even catch it. The video below (via Maxx) will tell you how to catch a Beldum effectively.
