If you've been playing "Final Fantasy XV" for a while now, you might have already taken a liking to the characters, especially Prompto. Being the oddball of the group, he sometimes talks about nerdy stuff that can sometimes be unrelatable if you're not nerdy enough.
Although sometimes, what he says turns out pretty interesting. Just like the one in this screenshot (credit: https://i.imgur.com/e1SHriv.jpg) where he talks about a door that seems to be locked saying "...Or like a magical key that can unlock any door - like from the video games!"
Sounds familiar? You bet it is, he's talking about Sora's keyblade from "Kingdom Hearts." Does this mean the "Kingdom Hearts 3" release (date) is somehow a visible glint of light in the far horizon? The answer for now is somehow vague, as "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" was delayed to a 2017 release so fans are now worried that "Kingdom Hearts 3" won't be playable in the near future.
Despite having no release date yet, "Kingdom Hearts 3" remains one of the most anticipated games in Japan together with "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and "Final Fantasy XV," which are both already released.
We can be rest assured that development of the game is ongoing and that it will have a bigger world than the prequel games. Tetsuya Nomura said "There are new worlds in which you can run, jump, [spoilers], [spoilers]... I'm very excited about moving Sora around in the wider space with his higher range of maneuverability."
Additionally, Square Enix might just be giving us hints on a 2017 release now that they're bringing all of the "prequels to Playstation 4. The package includes "Kingdom Hearts" and "Kingdom Hearts 2" as well as "Birth By Sleep," Re:Chain of Memories," "358/2 Days" and "Re:coded."
For now fans can turn their hype first on "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" to prepare themselves for the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3." Stay tuned for more updates.
