After escaping from the rock star avatar in Episode 7, Lucifer is now in deal with the President of the United States in "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8. Meanwhile, writer of the hit haunting series revealed that the show almost had a crossover with "Smallville."

Lucifer has a new vessel in the 8th installment of "Supernatural" Season 12. Unlike before, the devil lands at the most powerful yet dangerous place, the White House. The latest promo teaser reveals that Lucifer may have found his "perfect safe house."

In turn, the Winchesters with the help of Crowley and Rowena has to stop the looming evil actions of Lucifer. This might not be too easy to stop as the Devil has made a deal with the most powerful person in the country.

The President of United States and Lucifer is certainly a deadly combination so far in "Supernatural" Season 12. As per CarterMatt, the episode 8 title "Lotus" translates to mean "Lucifer of The United States."

As per episode 8 synopsis of "Supernatural" Season 12 (via ComicBook), "Lucifer's search for power and influence in a vessel lands him in the White House. The President of The United States (guest star David Chisum) unknowingly makes a deal with the devil, leading Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins), Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) to band together to fight the Dark Lord."

Meanwhile, latest "Supernatural" updates reveal that The CW has almost made a crossover of fantasy horror drama and superhero series. Jackson Stewart, who previously wrote episodes in "Supernatural," revealed in an interview that they battle around an idea of the crossover.

Blastr reports that the storyline would have focused on "Superman Curse," where The Winchesters track down Tom Welling to protect him from being killed of the curse. While the idea sounds it could have been actually worked and really cool, CW decided not to.

Episode 8 "Lotus" of "Supernatural" Season 12 is slated to air on December 8 on The CW.
