"The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 7 is about to bring in some intense comics-based scenes before going to its short hiatus for a mid-season break. This episode features the big encounter of Carl and Negan, who is going to be around for the eighth season.

The iconic moments from Robert Kirkman's comics are going to be realized on television in the new episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 7 entitled "Sing Me A Song" is going to showcase a huge encounter of the two key characters.

According to Comic Book, Carl removes his eyepatch before singing a song to Negan in Episode 7. In the comics, Carl saw in the back of the truck heading towards Negan before unloading the machine gun. But it is yet to be seen if this going to happen in Episode 7. Some expect that Negan could stop him before he tries to wreak havoc on the Sanctuary.

Moreover, viewers are going to have a deeper understanding of the Sanctuary and what Negan's place of residence. As per synopsis of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 7, "A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviours."

Another important scene in this episode is that one of the three new characters is going to be ironed by the Sanctuary for cheating on his wife. For Comics readers, it is not surprising to see Mark, along with Isabelle and Amber, to enter the scene. In the Comics series, Mark is the one got ironed by Negan for cheating on one of his wives, Amber.

As to the question whether Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character stays longer or not, the actor revealed in an interview with CinemaBlend that Negan will definitely be sticking around a little longer. His character will still be seen in the 8th season, and may survive the All Out War arc with Rick. Negan's origin side-story from the comics is also being discussed, but may not be explored anytime soon.
