Margot Robbie will be reprising her "Suicide Squad" character Harley Quinn and will be finally getting a spinoff movie. She is also reported to be co-producing the film. Latest reports claim there is a big twist coming to the much- awaited DC movie.

Since being added to "Batman: The Animated Series" as The Joker's sidekick and lover, Harley Quinn has grown immensely popular in TV, video games and the comics, to the point that she's even recognizable to some non-comic book fans. Along with being added to the "Suicide Squad", Harley Quinn is reported to be moving away from Joker's shadow and "becoming a Deadpool-like anti-heroine in her own series."

But the project isn't entirely centered around Harley Quinn, the spinoff movie was rumored to feature many of DC's famous female heroes and villains, such as Batgirl and Poison Ivy.

In the current run of comics, Harley Quinn is close friends with fellow sinister sex symbol, Poison Ivy. In fact, it's heavily implied that their friendship isn't quite platonic. Reports claim that it's possible that Harley's spin-off could focus on, or feature, a romance between the two.

As of now, it's unclear which characters will appear alongside Robbie's Quinn in the movie, as it's still early on in the development process. However, some reported that Batgirl and other members of the Birds Of Prey comics are among some of the rumored names to be featured in the flick.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie is reported to be one of the excutive producers of "Harley Quinn" solo-film.

According to a report, the Aussie actress has signed a 'first-look' deal with Warner Bros., allowing them the rights to develop and produce films through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.

For now, Margot Robbie has recently been reported campaigning for a Harley/Joker spin-off film, telling fans "I'm trying to make it happen." The actress made her debut as Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad" on August 5, marking the feature film debut of the character.
