Evolution is a staple feature in every Pokémon game, and if you are a seasoned Pokémon trainer, you should already know that there are a few Pokémon that need certain conditions to evolve.

The latest installment to the Pokémon series, "Pokémon Sun and Moon," also has its fair share of special evolutions. Here are all the special evolution requirements for some Pokémon, like the Alolan Vulpix, Steenee and more.

Let's start with our favorite special evolution Pokémon since Generation One, Eevee.

Eevee Evolutions In "Pokémon Sun and Moon"

Continuing the tradition from previous generations, Here are Eevee's special evolution conditions in "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

Jolteon - Thunder Stone

Flareon - Fire Stone

Vaporeon - Water Stone

Espeon - Raise its Happiness Level

Umbreon - Evolve Eevee at night

Sylveon - Give Eevee a fairy move, such as Baby-Doll Eyes or Charm, and increase its happiness level

Glaceon - Head to Mount Lanakila with your Eevee and interact with the Icy Stone found there. After that, level up Eevee near the Icy Stone until it evolves into Glaceon.

Leafeon - Bring your Eevee to Lush Jungle and look for the Moss Stone. Same as Glaceon, level up your Eevee near the stone until it evolves into Leafeon.

Happiness Level

Like Espeon and Sylveon, other Pokémon will also evolve based on their happiness level. Null, Pichu and Meowth evolve by increasing their happiness as well.

New Evolution Stone

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" introduces a new stone called the Ice Stone, which will be used to evolve special Alolan forms of Sandshrew and Vulpix into Alolan Sandslash and Ninetales, respectively.

There are some who will only evolve into a certain Pokémon depending on the time of day.
