Rumors say that Pangu is just a few steps away to finally releasing the jailbreak tool for the latest iOS 10 version.
According to a recent report from Neurogadget, the hacking team, Pangu, is almost done or possibly, already finished, with the development of the jailbreak tool for iOS 10. It is stated that the team is just laying in the wait for Apple to finally release the major iOS 10.2 update in order for them to ensure that everything will be covered.
It is, however, a thing to be taken as a grain of salt because ever since iOS 10 was released, there was no single evidence or proof about it being hacked properly for Cydia to be installed. Even Pangu chooses to be silent about the matter, though there's no telling if the team is indeed continuing its work or just pulling the plugs.
Some hackers like Luca Todesco claims to have been able to crack the thing, but without much grounds for showing that it is the real thing and to worsen it, the hacker is not planning on sharing it just as well.
Apple's more frequent iOS updates are proving to be much of a challenge even for well-known hackers and as everybody would hate to admit it, successfully jailbreaking iOS 10 isn't really going to be a future-proof thing as the iOS 9.3 jailbreak tool didn't last that long to be of much use.
With the rising security threats connected with jailbreak-related issues, Apple is ensuring that updates are rolled out as frequent as necessary and even stops signing older versions of iOS to ensure that people migrate to the newest version.
Hopefully, Apple would be able to resolve more issues with the next update rather than hackers being able to crack the current version of iOS 10 as this would mean longevity for the operating system.
