Samsung is yet to announce the US carrier availability of the next flagship smartphone - Galaxy S3. Currently, the successor of Galaxy S2 has been released for the UK market and recently, T-Mobile UK started offering pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S3 handset at different pricing options.
However, according to recent reports in the tech gossip world, it looks like the US customers will be also getting Samsung's heavyweight phone in the coming weeks. Reports are claiming that both the Amazon and Expansys retailers will be selling it for the US consumers. After having a look at the Amazon and Expansys websites, it is clear that unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 has gone up for pre-order on these online retail sites.
Reportedly, Amazon will ship the device through several merchants including Tailwind, TechnoTradingHouse.com, BLUTEKUSA and others and the retailer has priced the pre-order of the Galaxy S3 for one at $799 and another at $829.
At the same time, interested buyers can also order the new S3 for $694.99 over at Expansys website. Both the Amazon and Expansys have got the device in pepper blue and marble white editions. Meanwhile, Galaxy S3 is scheduled to begin rolling out overseas at the end of this month, but Amazon's listings state that those who order the device will have it shipped to them on June 1 and should receive it on June 4.
Samsung Galaxy S3 got officially launched a couple of weeks ago and has come with impressive features including enhanced battery, processor capabilities and inventive "S software features," which are based on a concept of "human interaction."
Talking about other features, Galaxy S3 will run on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with TouchWiz Nature UX on top of it, sporting a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED 720p display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution and Eye Tracking technology, powered by a 1.4GHz Samsung-made Exynos 4212 quad-core processor, a Mali-400MP GPU, 1GB, 8MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, an additional front-facing 1.9 megapixel shooter with face recognition capability, S Voice app, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory storage, a microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 and a hefty 2050mAh battery to keep everything running swiftly.
Samsung is also releasing some new accessories for the upcoming smartphone, including a wireless charging kit, a new backing with a flip cover, and a C-Pen stylus that is similar to the S-Pen on the Galaxy Note.
