"Hawaii Five-0" has always been a top rated show on CBS. However, there were speculations surfacing online that the Season 7 could be the last instalment for the series.

It has been said that after it moved its time slot to Friday, the ratings have been very frustrating as the number of viewership were decreasing. And with all the latest and exciting shows released out there, it seems like "Haawaii Five-0" is no longer on the list of the audiences.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Maski Oka (Max) will exit Hawaii Five-0 as a series regular" after the 13th episode of Season 7, further fuelling the rumor that the show will wrap up and say goodbye so soon.

"I just thought the character went through a major journey. He got married, now he's going off to Africa, so I think character-wise I felt like Max had done too much of everything he can do," he said. "And we've been so blessed to work for seven years on a great show, but a lot of my business has been in Los Angeles and Japan and it's been increasingly difficult to really commute to Hawaii."

Moreover, Peter Lenkov, as reported by TVGuide, said that the show will continue even without Lt Comm. Steve McGarret who also hinted in previous interviews that he will leave the series soon due to health issues.

"As long as people are watching the show, we would keep going," Lenkov said. "If Alex elects not to come back, that's obviously going to be his choice. But we're moving forward as if the show's going to keep going."

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is said to feature the sister of Detective Sergeant Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan) and fans will get to see dramatic scenes of Danny and his sister who will be played by Missy Peregrym.

In addition, the new episode will offer a different story and will make viewers understand more about Danny's family and his past.

The synopsis for "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 10 reads:

"Five-0 investigates the 10-year-old cold case of a missing teen when a boy suffering from PTSD undergoes hypnosis and realizes he may have witnessed her murder. Also, Danny's sister, Bridget (guest star Missy Peregrym), visits Oahu for a business conference, and he suspects that she may be getting too close to a co-worker."

"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 airs every Friday on CBS.
