"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will return on December 9 with a new episode entitled "Ka Luhi," which means "The Burden."
It has been said that as the show returns, viewers will be introduced to Danny's sister. Rumors are rife that in the new episode, Danny will have a fight with his sister as he doesn't want her to get close to a co-worker.
The synopsis for "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 10 reads:
"Five-0 investigates the 10-year-old cold case of a missing teen when a boy suffering from PTSD undergoes hypnosis and realizes he may have witnessed her murder. Also, Danny's sister, Bridget (guest star Missy Peregrym), visits Oahu for a business conference, and he suspects that she may be getting too close to a co-worker."
Meanwhile, according to reports, "MacGyver" characters might soon crossover on the show which is highly possible especially that the series is also executively produced by Peter Lenkov.
In an interview with the showrunner, Lenkov said that the crossover idea was never easy as the creator should master both series so they will not frustrate the fans.
"I took a shot out of the MacGyver pilot in a flashback to Jack [George Eads] in Afghanistan. The shot was of the saddle of his gun. It said "Aloha" on the saddle, and the idea was that he knew McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) in the military. I still would like to take advantage of that. Somehow we'll do a cross-over and those two guys knew each other. I'm hoping," Lenkov told TV Insider.
Moreover, Alex O'Loughlin has been rumored to leave the show on Season 8 because of some health issues. Many believed that a drastic change will happen on the show once he finally decides to exit and not renew his contract with the show.
However, there were speculations suggesting that O'Loughlin is only asking for a better deal and will remain on the show once he gets the salary increase that he has been requesting. This has still to be verified.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 continues to give exciting scenes and there were reports swirling online that Steve McGarret and Catherine Rollins (Michelle Borth) might give their relationship a second chance.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 airs Fridays on CBS.
