The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Orlando Magic and the Dallas Mavericks might sign a pact before the February trade deadline. Reports claimed that the Magic might send their forward-center Nikola Vucevic to the Mavericks in exchange for point guard Devin Harris, shooting guard Justin Anderson, and few more players.
Morning News USA reported that the Orlando Magic is in the process of rebuilding their roster in order to clear off the overcrowded frontcourt and thus trade Vucevic. Reports suggested that if the deal between the Magic team and the Mavericks takes place, then the former team is also expected to receive point guard José Juan Barea and future second-round NBA 2017 draft pick.
The NBA trade rumors hinted that adding Harris, Anderson, and Barea will help the Orlando Magic to solve their frontcourt issues and at the same time focus on their offensive gameplay. Reports touted that the Maverick's trio is expected to be teamed up with Magic's key lineup comprising of power forward Serge Ibaka and center Bismack Biyombo, which will help the team to put up high scores of the board and thus, provide tough competition to other teams in the NBA league.
On the other hand, few reports hinted that the deal will also be beneficial for the Dallas Mavericks as well. It is stated that adding Vucevic will help the Mavericks to enhance their offensive and defensive skills. The 26-year-old player has an average of 18.2 points and 8.9 rebounds last season with 10.5 rebounds per game, which is expected to help the team put up high scores on the board in the NBA season.
However, it remains to be seen, whether the rumored trade scenario sees the light of the day, as none of the teams have given any official confirmation on the same. So, these rumored should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
