Knowing the "Gran Turismo Sport" wouldn't be out on the date that fans have expected it, PS4 Pro and PSVR will be ultimately supported and higher expectations can be set.
Content Producer from Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe Corey Brotherson made a recent post on the official PlayStation Blog detailing the features and the things that fans can expect with the upcoming "Gran Turismo Sport."
According to the post, Kazunori Yamauchi, Polyphony Digital president and creator one of the longest racing simulations in the videogame history, stated that the team behind "Gran Turismo Sport" is working extra hard on getting the full potential of what the PlayStation 4 Pro has to offer. This says something about mistaking the in-game visuals to their real-life counterparts.
"PS4 Pro marks a historical moment," says Yamauchi-san, speaking with us at a media event in London earlier this month. "It's the first time video games are going to exceed and better the quality of images in movies, broadcasting, and packaged media out there." - Yamauchi added.
This will ensure that the developers of "Gran Tursimo Sport" will see to it that it will take the full advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro's capabilities. This features a dynamic 4K scaling, constant 60 frames per second, HDR and a lot of visual eye-candy features.
As for the PlayStation VR, the team is also emphasizing that it will be incorporated in a way that it will feel entirely new from the usual first-person perspective with playing the game on a TV screen.
"The raw, live feel that you get when you sit in the cockpit of a car using PS VR is something that wasn't possible in GT before." - Yamauchi told interviewers.
Aside from the visual treat from the race tracks, the cockpit of the car will also put the PS VR into good use as this will let players ogle the realism, letting them fully sync with the 3D model of the car that seriously blurs reality from CG.
Stay tuned for more "Gran Turismo Sport" news and updates.
