Sony Xperia is continuously innovating with design and features to compete in the global smartphone market with Cupertino giant Apple, which has a major share of global smartphone sales. Today we will compare Apple iPhone 6s Plus and Sony Xperia XA. A budget smartphone vs premium smartphone.

In terms of screen and resolution, iPhone 6s Plus fares way ahead with its stunning offering of 5.5'' huge screen having HD display. However, Xperia XA also boast a comparatively better screen size with 5.0" having 720x1280 resolution.

Xperia XA features a IPS LCD display with scratch resistant glass. On the other hand, iPhone 6s Plus have LED-backlit IPS LCD protected with Ion-strengthened glass and oleophobic coating. It comes with features like 3D Touch and Display zoom.

When it comes to camera, Sony brand boast stunning lens like a LED Flash 13 MP rear camera in case of Xperia XA. Contrastingly, iPhone 6s Plus shines with 12MP camera and dual-LED flash. Comparatively, XA have 8 MP front camera and Apple have 5MP.

The Android phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), with upgrade option to Android 7.0 in future. The Apple family flaunts its latest iOS 10.1.

In terms of processor Sony brand has offered the latest octa-core Helio P10 processor clocking at 2.0 GHz whereas iPhone 6s Plus features a powerful Dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister with Apple A9 chipset.

Comparing the storage option of both the phones, Sony Xperia XA comes with 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory and can be expanded up to 256GB with dedicated microSD slot. Whereas, iPhone 6s Plus also have 2GB RAM and comes with 16/32/64/128GB option for internal storage. Apple family never offers external storage option in any of their gadgets.

Comparing the battery life, Apple this time offers more with 6s Plus which has 2750mAH battery against the 2300mAH battery of XA.

Summing up, Xperia XA is priced much lower than iPhone 6s Plus. If we keep in mind the price and features then, it will be hard to decide.
