Google is expected to unveil its Nexus 7 before the end of the year, however, it is not known yet if the device would be an addition to the Pixel or a Nexus line up. Many speculated that the upcoming tablet will be rebranded as Pixel 7 since the giant company has killed its Nexus smartphone series.
However, 9 to 5 Google reported that the new tablet will use the Google's Nexus brand as this is more familiar to people. This might also mean that the photo posted by Evan Blass on Twitter about the Huawei-made Google 7-inch tablet is true.
There are also rumors that suggested, Google Nexus 7 will come out in 2017 since the device is yet to undergo some major updates this year.
Meanwhile, the Nexus 7 is expected to be affordable, robust, and pocketable. But if the tablet device will be branded as the Google Pixel, then it might come with a hefty price tag under the premium category.
The highly-anticipated device is projected to house the Andromeda operating system which will allow the device to operate in high performance. The latest hybrid OS is believed to be a game changer for the tablet.
As reported by 9 to 5 Google, the "tablet - as a dev device - could actually have a version of Android out of the box, but have a "developer preview" version of Andromeda available to those who want to develop for it." The source is unsure about it, however they are "fairly certain that Google plans for it o be able to run Andromeda in some form or fashion at some point."
It is also likely to sport an AMOLED screen display and 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal storage. The device is anticipated to pack a 5,100mAh battery capacity and a USB type C port.
Moreover, the Nexus 7 is speculated to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition, it is reported to have a 13-megapixel rear camera.
Google is yet to give clear updates regarding the latest Nexus 7 tablet.
