After a very long wait and several fan speculations, the latest episode of Steven Universe will air at Cartoon Network on November 17, following its earlier announcement at the New York Comic Con.

According to The Geekiary, the latest episode will be 22-minute special episode entitled "Gem Harvest" and will premiere at 7:30pm. The episode's delay made fans worry as Cartoon Network usually does not air new TV shows in December, and it will be next year before avid followers of the series could watch the new episode.

The episode will be about the adventures of Steven and his visit to the barn in which, with his magic, brings a new stranger to life, as Geek Girl Authority mentioned. The trailer features Lapiz Lazuli and Peridot also trying to make vegetables behave like gems and come to life to do a number of activities such as walking and interacting with people.

They are, at first, disappointed because the newly-living pumpkin does not instantly take to them, but Steven indirectly finds a way to make the newborn beast bond with its original gem-owners.

While there has been no confirmation, a fusion between the two characters is speculated to happen when Season 4 returns to broadcast. It has been assumed that the fusion becomes possible because of the gems' 'close friendship' with them.

After "Gem Harvest," the series' season is expected to continue with "Three Gems and a Baby," "Tiger Philanthropist" and "Beach Shorts"; however, there are no confirmed release dates of the next episodes as of press time.

The previous episode, entitled "Onion Gang", was aired on September 15; the series took a little more than two months of hiatus until the announcement of the latest episode's air date. There have been cancellation rumors of "Steven Universe" due to low ratings and issues concerning increased censorship.

Stay tuned for more news about "Steven Universe," its next episodes, and the show's fate.
