Both the Asus ZenFone 3 Laser and the Lenovo Z2 Plus are recent launches in 2016. Coming from big names in the industry, we thought of doing a quick comparison between the two smartphones.
Looking at the physical design, The Asus smartphone is taller, wider, and denser than the Lenovo mobike. The Asus model also has a sleeker design, according to NDTV Gadgets.
From the display perspective, the Zenfone 3 Laser has a larger display than the Z2 Plus model. Reading, browsing the internet and watching movies is more pleasing experience on the Asus model.The Lenovo Z2 Plus, however, has twice the inbuilt storage capacity than that of Asus smartphone.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is powered by 64 bit 1.4 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 whereas the Z2 Plus smartphone is powered by 2.15 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. It seems the Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone holds the edge when it comes to faster CPU speed.
The ZenFone 3 Laser has better RAM capacity than Z2 Plus model, which makes it better for running of multi-applications simultaneously. Moreover, unlike the Lenovo Z2 Plus smartphone, Asus Zenfone 3 Laser supports expandable storage capacity and has expandable storage capacity up to 128 GB according to NDTV Gadgets.
The Lenovo model tops the charts when it comes to battery capacity and lasts longer though Asus ZenFone 3 Laser does pack a decent battery capacity. Among the two, Asus ZenFone 3 Laser seems to be the only one supporting FM radio according to Smartprix.
It seems like the Lenovo Z2 Plus is a better choice than the Asus ZenFone 3 Laser. Compared to the Asus model, the Lenovo smartphone has huge storage capacity thanks to both inbuilt and expandable storage options. FM lovers would prefer the Asus Zenfone 3 as it is the only smartphone supporting FM radio.
