Catching pokémon is one of the core gameplay mechanics of "Pokémon GO," but some aren't as effective like the others. Wasted pokéballs and supplies are things that beginners and experienced players would want to happen the least. This particular tool saves everybody from such scenario.
According to BGR's recent post, Pokémon GO Hub recently created a neat tool that aids players and trainers and especially, beginners, in making good estimates with the odds of catching a particular pokémon on a certain level, type of ball etc.
The calculator is entirely based from the algorithm called Grand Unified Catch Theory or GUCT for short. Apparently, it is a long and complex explanation of how a catch will be successful and computes the odds of getting a particular pokémon based on what's laid out.
Pokemon GO Hub was generous enough to put all these technical mumbo-jumbo into plain English and understandable language in the form of its own catch chances Pokemon GO Catch Chance Calculator.
The usage is extremely easy and streamlined that it can help at the most urgent situations given that players are just near their computers or have the tool opened up on their mobile browsers.
Every pokémon are listed in the tool and the users also have the option to define their trainer and pokémon level. The psychic medal also needs to be selected appropriately for more accurate interpretations as well as if the player would use a Curveball throw or Razzberry.
Once all the necessary fields are filled out, the right side of the screen will populate the chances and will indicate the catch rates for the normal Poke Ball, Great Ball and Ultra Ball. The Normal, Nice, Great and Excellent catches are also laid out.
While not exactly a cheat on its own, this tiny little tool is very useful for those who wouldn't want risk wasting limited resources, especially the Ultra Ball without having to ask around and lose the chance of capturing a specific pokémon.
Stay tuned for more tips, tricks and hints on "Pokémon GO."
