Ever since the beginning of the year, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been the subject of a number of rumors. One rumor said that it would be released in September, however, turned out to be false. It now seems the new tablet from Korean giant will not be available until the first quarter of 2017.

According to GSM Arena, the new tablet is expected to come in two variants. However, no information on the specs, pricing or availability of the Galaxy Tab S3 has been leaked. The only aspect most agrees with it would be relatively high-powered than the existing Android tablets in the market.

Tech Radar reported a leaked picture which gives some idea of the new tablet. From a design perspective, it looks much similar to Galaxy Tab S2. The home button is available at the bottom of the front screen. The 4:3 display ratio is maintained and its plastic back as well for the new tablet.

One of the popular rumors is that the new tablet would have Qualcomm snapdragon 652 under its hood with a 3GB RAM. There are also rumors that the new tablet would have a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab S3 is rumored to have a 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. Most analysts and experts believe that the new tablet from Samsung will also feature USB type c port as seen in the Galaxy Note 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S family has been one of the most popular workhorses in the Android-based tablet universe. It has long been hailed by users as the best alternatives to the iPads. Stay tuned for more news on Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
