The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that the Chicago Bulls might enter a three-team deal with the Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves in order to trade their shooting guard Jimmy Butler in exchange for the Kings' power forward DeMarcus Cousins.

Reports stated that the Chicago Bulls are in the process of rebuilding their roster in order to form a team of talented players, who will help them to make it to this year's playoffs. According to the NBA trade rumors, the three-team deal will see the departure of Bulls' Butler and center Robin Lopez to the Kings, who will, in turn, send Cousins to the Chicago Bulls.

Besides, the Bulls are also expected to receive Timberwolves' point guard Ricky Rubio as a part of the deal. Lastly, the Minnesota Timberwolves will receive Kings' small forward Rudy Gay and Chicago Bulls' power forward Nikola Mirotic.

Sports Rageous reported that the Bulls are eyeing Cousins, as it is expected that he will provide the team with excellent offensive and defensive skills and thus help them to achieve their goals for the upcoming NBA season. Also, Rubio is expected to be teamed up with power forward Taj Gibson, small forward and Doug McDermott and shooting guard Denzel Valentine, which will help the Bulls to enhance their rim protection.

Furthermore, it is stated that Cousins and Rubio will provide the Chicago Bulls with strong offensive gameplay that will help the team's core lineup comprising of Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade. This is expected to make the Bulls one of the strong contenders for this year's NBA league.

However, none of the teams mentioned in the rumored trade scenario have officially commented on the report. Hence, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt as of now.
