Following the early leaks in April, HTC and Verizon have officially launched the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE has received the top spotlight at New Orleans' CTIA Wireless 2012 event. However, it is not one of those One series smartphones, but holding it in your hands you might never know it.

HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE features 4-inch Super LCD display with a resolution of 540 X 960 pixels. Under the hood, we got a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor fitted on Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset. The device has 1GB of RAM and with 8GB of internal storage. Of course, it has microSD card slot allowing users to expand memory up to 32GB.

At the back is 8-megapixel camera with LED flash support. Like One X, it can also take 3 shots per second. The advanced camera system allows users to shoot HD video and capture photos at the same time. There is also a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera in the device. The connectivity features include Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, assisted GPS, microUSB v2.0 (MHL), and Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA sharing and hotspot functionality. The device packs 1,700 mAh battery.

Droid Incredible 4G LTE runs Android OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense UI 4.0 overlay and Beats Audio integration. User interface is identical to HTC's One series on Android smartphones. The phone is loaded with a bloatware of Verizon apps (15 apps to be precise).

The price tag or release date has not been announced. However, Verizon indicated that the phone is coming in weeks. Meanwhile, rumors suggest that it could be price at $299, which is the standard price for Verizon's high-end LTE smartphones. However, some Android watchers are suggesting it might have a price tag of $199.
