South Korean historical drama series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" ended on Tuesday after airing 18 episodes, and the finale featured a happy ending for Lee Yeong and Ra On, the characters portrayed by Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. But, according to reports fans want more another season.

Recently, the lead stars of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung took to their social media accounts to thank the fans for making the show a success.

"To everyone who watched KBS 2TV's 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' all this time and loved the moonlight monarch Lee Young, thank you very much!!" Park Bo Gum wrote on Twitter along with a clip of his character Lee Young.

"I'm thankful and thankful to all the viewers who loved 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' all this time. May you always be filled with happiness..." Kim Yoo Jung wrote on her Instagram along with a photograph of Ra On sitting in a bed of flowers.

Jinyoung, whose character died in the finale, also took to his Instagram to say “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” has given him a lot of wonderful memories.

"I would like to thank everyone who loved 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds', a production that I found difficult yet sentimental but which will remain in my heart~ I would also like to thank all of the actors and staff, who worked hard despite the hot weather~ It will be a very good memory~ I also thank and love everyone who loved Yoon Sung~ Yoon Sung, I hope you find good love in heaven~,” the actor posted.

Meanwhile, the “Moonlight Drawn By Clouds” series enjoyed great popularity and surpassed 20 percent in ratings at its peak in which reports claimed that fans wanted a season 2, however, no official announcement has been confirmed yet about this.

In addition, the cast and crew, including Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung left for a reward vacation to Cebu in the Philippines on October 21.
