The MacBook Pro has been one Apple's most successful products. However, it seems like the physical design and internal hardware are frozen in time. Many fans have been patiently waiting for an update and it seems something on the cards. According to Mac Rumours, there is a huge possibility of an upgrade to the Mac Book Pro lineup by end of this month.
Apple seems to be working on a major update to its MacOS Sierra operating system. According to Tech Radar, Apple is customizing the operating system to suit to the new features of MacBook .
Popular rumors suggested that the new MacBook hardware will have Touch ID sensor, fingerprint sensor, and an organic light-emitting diode touch bar. It is highly anticipated that the OLED screen would be replacing the physical keys. Apple would like to expand the Apple Pay capabilities. So it is highly possible to see the Touch ID power button in the new MacBook Pro 2016.
We could also see an improved Apple pencil for the revamped MacBook Pros as Apple would be looking to extend the Apple pencil support from just the iPads. An improved screen resolution is very much on the cards, though a 4K/5K display screen is remote with the launch nearby.
The sixth generation Sky Lake chips are highly anticipated to come under the hoods of the new MacBook Pros. There are some reports which mention that Apple could make provisions to the MacBook Pro devices once the Kaby Lake Processors are available in the market.
