"Kingdom Hearts" director recently revealed that all the box art of all the "Kingdom Hearts" remasters hold a hint related to the highly anticipated "Kingdom Hearts III."
In a recent interview in this week's issue of Dengeki Playstation (translated by KH13.com), Nomura said that there is a secret hidden in the all box arts from "Kingdom Hearts 1.5" until "Kingdom Hearts 2.8."
"Extremely attentive 'Kingdom Hearts' fans might have already discovered them, but one is that Sora's movements change from sitting, to standing, to walking." Nomura said.
"One more is that when you line up the three illustrations, you'll notice that they show the flow of time with changes in the sky," the "Kingdom Hearts" creator went on. "'Kingdom Hearts 1.5' is sunset becoming night, 'Kingdom Hearts 2.5' is the middle of the night, and 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' is night breaking into dawn."
The director said that all of these box arts signify a message regarding the next installment "Kingdom Hearts III."
The director added that while some fans have noticed the changes in the main character Sora's movements across all illustrations, a few only noticed the connection between the changes in the skies. "There are two meanings to 'sora'," Nomura pointed out. The world 'sora' means sky in English.
Nomura also hinted at new "Kingdom Hearts III" soon, as the developer has promised more information after "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" is released.
In a Twitter post translated by Goldpanner for KH Insider, Nomura said that he is also excited about the progress of the much anticipated game, which the team is working on alongside "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."
"Furthermore, the other game we are working on while doing this, KH3, is coming along steadily," Nomura said. "There are new worlds in which you can run, jump, [spoilers], [spoilers]... I'm very excited about moving Sora around in the wider space with his higher range of maneuverability."
Stay tuned for more "Kingdom Hearts 3" news.
