2K has recently dropped the latest patch for its popular basketball simulation game "NBA 2K17."

The latest update, Patch 1.04, weighs in at a hefty 7.139GB, and is said to fix all the known issues and bugs in "NBA 2K17." The patch "improved the stability of the title in addition to a number of general improvements to the user experience," according to the PS4's update history, Playstation Lifestyle reported.

"Patch 1.04 should be available now for PS4 users," "NBA 2K" Gameplay Director Mike Wang announced on Twitter. "XB will follow shortly. Please let me know if you're still seeing the shot meter glitch."

The patch notes are already available. The highlights of the update are detailed below (exact patch notes can be found on the NBA 2K Facebook page).

GENERAL

This included a color fix that resolved players' concerns about color clashes between teams during matchups. The scoreboards will also not register scores until the basket animation is complete, thus avoiding confusion.

GAMEPLAY

The Relentless badge will be able to notice proper contact layup bonuses when it levels up with their players. The update also fixes a rare issue wherein players hang when grabbing a rebound.

MyPARK/2K PRO-AM

There is a case wherein certain jump shot animations would result in the shot meter reporting an incorrect very late timing during high-latency situations. This shot meter glitch is finally fixed with the latest update.

MyCAREER/MyCOURT

The latest patch fixed the persistent pre-game black screen and the connections glitch in the MyCareer mode.

2K has also announced on Twitter that only the PS4 versions will be getting the patch as of the moment, but the team is working on bringing the fixes to the Xbox One and PC ports as well.

"NBA 2K17" was launched on PC, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One last Sept. 20.
