Samsung might bring out a new flagship model, but this time under the C series.
As reported in NDTV Gadgets, Samsung posted a teaser on Chinese website Weibo regarding its next smartphone with the Tag "The next big thing is coming." From the looks of it, it seems like the Korean tech giant is working on the next smartphone for its Galaxy series, which might be the Samsung Galaxy C9, the expected successor to the Samsung Galaxy C7.
The new Galaxy C9 model seems to have 6-inch full HD display. The new smartphone could be fuelled by an octa-core Qualcomm CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz. The most interesting aspect from the listing is that the Samsung Galaxy C9 could be the first phone from the South Korean Company to sport a 6GB of RAM.
The new Samsung Galaxy C9 model seems to have a metal unibody design. There are rumors that the in-built storage capacity of the new Samsung Galaxy C9 would be around 64GB.
GSM Arena reports that the new Samsung Galaxy C9 model will have a 16MP rear and front camera and is reported to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It could also feature Samsung own TouchWiz UI as with most Samsung smartphone models. It is also reported by GSM Arena that the new Galaxy C9 model could be backed by a powerful 4000mAh battery as well.
There has not been any official confirmation regarding the launch date of the new Samsung Galaxy C9. Also, it is not sure if Samsung has plans to launch the new device outside of the China or perhaps the US.
