Here is a look at the 2016 launches from HTC and LG, namely the HTC 10 and LG G5, and see how they compare to the 2015 launch from Sony - the Sony Xperia X5 Premium.

Looking at underneath the hood, the Z5 Premium is powered by 1.5 GHz, Octa-Core Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810, while the HTC 10 is powered by 2.1 GHz, Quad-Core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor, and the LG G5 is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snap Dragon.

The HTC 10 has the fastest CPU speed, followed by the LG G5, and then by the Xperia Z5. However, more parallel processing tasks can be done in Sony Xperia Z5 model thanks to additional cores available when compared to other two smartphones.

The LG5 and HTC 10 have similar RAM capacity and higher than the Sony Xperia Z5 model as per Recombu. When it comes to expandable storage capacity, the LG G5 and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium have similar capacities but lower than that of the HTC 10.

The HTC 10 is the only model among three not haveing a dual-SIM feature.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium breaks the idea that older smartphone models cannot compete with newer models as it is definitely the best choice for shutterbugs. The HTC 10 has a big advantage of having bigger storage, something that can be interesting to some users. The LG G5 also has impressive specs. The three phones have specific highlights which can cater to your certain need.
