Maingear has released vertical heat-dissipating desktops, which bring third generation Intel Core processors. The new models are smaller, while bringing features such as liquid cooling.
Maingear previously introduced the Maingear Shift, which rotates the internals to cause the heat to rise. Air comes from the bottom, which cools components and limits noise. The technique won the 2011 CES Design and Innovations award and "numerous editors' choice awards." The new desktops continue to use the technology while offering different price points.
The Potenza can also use graphic cards up to 10 inches, including the Nvidia GeForce GTX 680, and supports one 3.5-inch drive and 2.5-inch drives. The Potenza also measures 7.4x15.6x9.25 inches. Prices for Potenza start at $899.
"Intel's latest and most advanced 3rd generation Intel Core processors in Maingear PCs are a terrific combination for serious PC enthusiasts to unleash their full potential. The overclocked 3rd generation processor helps unlock a whole new PC experience. Maingear understands their customers want the best performance and we are excited that Maingear is offering the new 3rd Gen Core processors for their new desktops," CJ Bruno, Intel Vice President, GM Americas, said.
The cases can also be customized through different paint options and can feature a name, artwork or logo. Head to maingear.com for more information.
