"W Two-Worlds" just recently finished its pilot season. Now, fans of the series are constantly asking if there will be a season 2 and if the lead stars Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo will return to reprise their role.
The MBC drama is one of the most popular K-drama series today. In fact, its pilot season had an impressive 14.59 percent viewership ratings. Thus, several sources claimed that there are possibilities of the drama for another second sequel.
One source claimed that Lee Jong Suk does not want to part ways with his "W Two-Worlds" character, Kang Chul and his lady love, Oh Yeon Joo, played by Han Hyo Joo. It was revealed that out of all his productions till date, "W Two-Worlds" is the toughest one to bid goodbye to.
"It was harder than other productions, but it was also more rewarding. It was very new for me, and I think I'll change a lot because of this production," the actor shared on a video.
"The filming was delayed as the broadcasts for the drama was pushed back about a week, so my schedule after that was pushed back, too. I'm in the midst of photo shoots and other schedules as always. I'm Kang Chul until the day after tomorrow," he shared.

However, it seemed like Lee Jong Suk is now busy for his new Chinese-Korean drama and that possibility for playing Kang Chul decreases.
It was reported that Lee Jong Suk will be busy filming his Chinese-Korean drama rumored to be entitled "Jade Lovers."
To recall, Lee Jong Suk also shared his future plans after "W Two-Worlds."
"Starting tomorrow, I will enter preparations while sharing deep conversations with the director for my next production. I think filming will begin next month. I'm not sure if it will do well, but I plan to gain weight [for the role]," he shared.
Though has been no formal announcement for the second season of the hit fantasy romance drama, it was reported to be likely premiered in late 2017, adding that fans would still want the original cast, mainly the leading stars Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo, to have their original roles.
