MBC's hit fantasy drama series featuring Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo ended with episode 16 this September. However, fans are still excited for another extended special ending episode for "W Two Worlds."

The network will air an episode featuring special moments from the fan-favorite series. According to a report, fans will get to look back the story of "W Two Worlds" depicting the romance between Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo's characters Kang Chul and Oh Yeon Joo in the webtoon and the real world.

Moreover, the special segment episode will go on air on September 17 in the morning, featuring most memorable scenes from the drama, behind-the-scenes footage from the "W Two Worlds" set and more. This special episode is brought by MBC to also thank the supporters and fans of the drama series as reported by Soompi.

Recently, the "W Two Worlds" leading lady Han Hyo Joo media representative posted a photo of her on their official Instagram account captioning her sadness for the drama series finale.

"I hate to part with Oh Yeon Joo, say this isn't goodbye," the caption reads.

Meanwhile, her leading man, Lee Jong Suk said in an interview that he prefers a sad ending for "W Two Worlds."

"Personally, I prefer sad endings. I think it'll be good to have a smooth, sad ending. A smooth context and an appropriate farewell will be a heartache, but understandable. It will also makes the drama linger in your mind longer," the 27-year-old actor said.

"To be honest, wrapping it up as how Yeon Joo imagined with love, marriage, and family will be the best ending," he then added.

"It was harder than other productions, but it was also more rewarding. It was very new for me, and I think I'll change a lot because of this production," he expressed.
