Rumors regarding the next MacBook Pro 2016 indicates that the Cupertino-based company might be considering a big change with the laptop's processor, slowly blurring the possibility of including Intel's Kaby Lake.
Apple's newest entry to the iPhone series, the iPhone 7, might be a small hint of what's to come for the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, according to a recent report from The Verge,
Intel may be soon replaced by something else sooner or later for the rest of all of Apple's devices like the iPhone 7 that now has A10 Fusion instead of using Intel's processors. The same is very likely to happen with the other upcoming devices, including MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 models.
This, in turn, becomes a big factor to the MacBook Pro 2016 being delayed. Supposedly, the MacBook Pro 2016 is rumored to be slated for a September release, but with the recent changes that may take place in switching chipsets, it could even be possibly pushed back to 2017.
Hearsays suggested that Apple may have already started the trend with the iPhone 7 and Intel may not worry about AMD no more. This is due to Apple surfacing in the mobile market once more.
It is, however, rather debatable as to which processor will reign as there are varying levels of performance gaps between a number of A series mobile processors versus a variety of Intel's x86 chips. The only devices that are showing solid performance indication for the A10 Fusion are iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and none on a desktop platform as of yet.
There's no solid foundation for the speculation yet regarding Apple considering an A10 chipset for the next MacBook Pro 2016, but it is a possibility given the increasing performance power of the iPhone series and the talk about a universal operating system.
In other news, an even crazier redesign for the MacBook Pro 2016 leads consumers to believe that Apple is about to remove the headphone jack from its next laptop. As reported by MacRumors, Apple had been sending emails containing a survey with a question asking if the user use the headphone port on their MacBook Pro.
Without quickly jumping into conclusions, this may lead to a number of possible reasons, but it can't be helped if anybody would quickly assume that Apple is getting people's opinions about deciding whether to keep the headphone jack off for the next MacBook Pro 2016.
Stay tuned for more news and updates for the MacBook Pro 2016.
